Fees Information
Mr Doerfel's hourly rate (year of call 2000) is £300/hour. In some cases fixed fees may be agreeable. The Chambers of Jan Doerfel are VAT registered and VAT may be payable dependent on your individual circumstances including where you are based. The VAT registration number can be provided upon request.
Whilst work on an hourly basis is the Chambers most commonly used pricing model for the provision of legal services, in certain circumstances a fixed fee may be able to be agreed. This will depend on a pre-assessment of your individual case including assessing what work would need to be carried out.
For a detailed fee quote or to discuss your needs, please contact info@jandoerfel.com or call 07532 156 249.
Deadlines & timescales
Deadlines and timescales will vary according to the work that needs to be carried out. You may need to lodge an immigration application for further leave to remain prior to your visa running out, you might have an appeal deadline to lodge appeal grounds, or you may want to judicially review a negative Home Office decision. We will advise you what deadlines apply and work with you to meet these deadlines. We would, of course, always advise clients to seek immigration advice as soon as possible and not to leave doing so until the last minute to ensure that there is ample time for the best preparation of your case.
